Properties:
Pure compound crystallizes in flake from water or in needle from benzene. Specific gravity: 1.272(at 15°C), melting point: 110°C, bioling point: 276.5°C(at 759.7mmHG). Easily soluble in water and organic solvents such as alcohol, aether and etc. It will turn to dark red on the exposure to light. |
